The Bell Davis Employment Services is looking for a passionate, driven, and resourceful Remote Job Developer to to work with Deaf/HH individuals in Chicago-area, Illinois and Atlanta-area, Georgia. Our stakeholders are needing assistance with securing and maintaining long term, meaningful employment.
Our Remote Job Developer who work with Deaf/HH utilizing videophone communications for remote support on their job development. Our Remote Job Developer and the stakeholders work together remotely to build a career plan relating to his/her existing skill sets. The Job Developer and clients conduct job searches via the internet (job postings via internet search engines), phone calls to prospective employers, and maintain communications with his/her Vocational Rehabilitation counselor.
Remote Job Developers implements services and supports to address the person’s vocational goals and desired outcomes as identified in their Individual Plan of Employment (IPE). Relies on supervision and direction from the Chief Operating Officer.

Additional requirements of the Remote Job Developer position include:
Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services field (Rehabilitation, Education, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Criminal justice act.), and one year of documented professional experience providing services to individuals with disabilities.
Marketing experience a plus.
Experience working with Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing individuals communicating in American Sign Language
Fluency in American Sign Language
Valid drivers’ license and automotive insurance
Ability to pass background check
This position is 1099-contract and commission-based.
